This Privacy Policy explains how Dark Envelope ("we"), operated by PinkyBot.io, handles your information.
Account data (email, name), subscription/billing records, and API usage metadata (call counts, timestamps). We do not have access to your plaintext data, encryption keys, or master keys — encryption/decryption happens with keys you control.
To operate the Service, enforce rate limits, process subscriptions, send transactional email, and maintain the audit log you can access. We do not sell personal data.
Stripe (payments) and our email provider (transactional mail). Payment card details are handled solely by Stripe.
Dark Envelope is designed so that your keys and plaintext never reach our servers in usable form. The hosted API processes only the data you send for a given operation and does not retain plaintext.
Account/billing data is retained while active and as legally required. Request access or deletion at [email protected].
